Cristina earned degrees in Art History and Painting from the University of Saint Francis in Fort Wayne, Indiana before moving to Chicago, where she lives and works today. Her work explores what it means to walk queerness as a spiritual path, focusing on the everyday things that shape our shared humanity and contemplating the surreal nature of our current reality.

When she’s not painting, Cristina writes, produces and performs music under the stagename faetrap.
